What Is Breast Augmentation?

Breast augmentation improves volume and fullness in the breasts by inserting FDA-approved silicone or saline implants. It is the best surgical procedure for enhancing cleavage or obtaining a voluptuous, hourglass figure.

During your initial consultation, our medical team will walk you through all of your options for breast enhancement, including helping you choose which type, shape, and size implant you should get. This is an excellent time to ask any questions or voice concerns–we would be delighted to provide you with expert medical guidance and support.

What To Expect During Your Breast Augmentation Procedure

We perform breast enlargement surgery under general anesthesia to ensure your comfort. Our exceptionally trained plastic surgeons will make a small, carefully concealed incision just above the breast crease, around the areola, or in the axilla of the breast. Through this incision, our team creates a pocket underneath the breast tissue or muscle where we place a silicone or saline implant.

Your Initial Breast Augmentation Consultation

During your initial consultation, Dr. Min will ask you about the size, shape, and feel of what you are looking for, as well as any specific concerns you may have. He will walk you through your options and explain the details of the breast augmentation procedure, and together you will decide on the details and timing of your procedure.

Dr. Min understands that one of the biggest fears people have about plastic surgery is not knowing what they will look like. This is why we are so pleased to be one of the few practices in our area utilizing the Vectra 3D Imaging System. The Vectra, allows Dr. Min to simulate what you will look like with different sizes and types of implants. This powerful tool allows you to see a realistic preview of your post-operative results. Finally, Dr. Min will make sure you know exactly what will happen on the day of your procedure, what you will experience while you recover, and what you can expect in the months and years to follow.
